Tiger:I’m a great tiger.I’m very strong.I’m very brave.I’m the king of the beasts.But now I’m very hungry.I must find some animals to eat at once.Ah,a fox.A good meal.Ah,a good meal.I’d like to eat you. Facing the tiger’s big hungry mouth,the fox was frightened: ‘Oh,my God!A tiger!What should I do? He thought hard ,then he smiled. ‘Yes,I have a good idea.’ So he pretended to be surprised,and said, ‘Oh,my dear!How dare you say that!Yes,you have the name of ‘King of the beasts’!But I’m the king of the forest!I’m the king of the forest!Do you know that all the animals in the forest are scared of me not you?’ I’m much fiercer than you ,If you want to eat me,I will let you die right now. “What are you talking about?” said the tiger who couldn’t believe his ears. “If you don’t believe me,just follow me and see who is the king of the forest. The tiger didn’t believe what the fox said at all,so he said: ‘Ok.Let’s go.’ A strange sight was taken place in the forest:The fox was proudly marching in front and the fierce tiger followed in a huff(生气).The fox greeted warmly to the animals: Hello,bear.Hello,frog.Hello,rabbit. The animals all say hello to the fox. But when the animals saw the tiger,they were frightened:Oh!A tiger.Then they all ran away. The tiger was shocked and thought that the animals were scared of the fox.At that time,the fox stopped and asked the tiger, “Tiger,Now you see,they are so frightened!They all run away!” The tiger,who was fooled by this trick and said: “ Yes,you are right.It’s true.I’m very sorry.You are the king of the forest.That’s all right.I will run away.He is the king.He is the king. The tiger lost a delicious meal,while the Chinese gained an interesting idiom.This story tells us that don’t bully(威吓) people by flaunting（炫耀） others’ powerful connections（关系）.
