On August 5th , my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall. We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing. Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing.如有错误，请见谅 。

If I were ever fortunate enough to have the opportunity to go anywhere with a partner of my choice, I would choose Shakespeare as my companion. As the greatest poet and playwright in the history of English literature, he would be bound to have great knowledge and insight into what we call beauty; thus the artistic side of me would be refreshed with nourishments of the dazzling world of imagination. Together we would read his immortal classics and fall for the eternal love between Romeo and Juliet, and laugh at the irony behind the foolish conducts of Hamlet. After the warm-up, my creative brain cells would be put into full gear, and we would set off on our journey. We would go hiking together. The birds would chirp above our heads as a warm welcome, and in return Shakespeare would immediately write down yet another masterpiece to thank their hospitality. we would waltz under the emerald green shade to the rhythm of rustling leaves, and for a rest we would sit on the banks of a brook and talk about books and music as fish swim around our bare feet. As we ascend the hill, blazing rays from the sun would try to stop us in our paths, but a cool breeze would caress our cheeks, taking the sweat and tiredness away as they sing a melody of harmony to urge us on. Finally, when we reach the hilltop, we would peer down at the rolling hills beneath and up at the clear blue sky above, and as we amuse ourselves with the twisting clouds transforming into a million different shapes, Nature would begin its grand symphony to celebrate our triumph, and at that moment, we would understand, from deep in our heart, the untold significance and beauty of Nature.

This summer vacation, my parents and I went to the capital - Beijing, Beijing is a sacred place, where there are many ancient buildings.
今年暑假我和爸爸妈妈去了首都——北京，北京是一个神圣的地方那里有许多古代建筑。
The first stop, we came to Tiananmen Square, only Tiananmen magnificent, extraordinary momentum. On the monument to the people's Heroes on the opposite side, there are eight big words with glittering Gold: the people's heroes will live forever. In front of it is a square building, Chairman Mao's memorial hall.
第一站，我们来到了天安门广场，只见天安门雄伟壮观，气势非凡。对面的人民英雄纪念碑上写着金光闪闪的八个大字——人民英雄永垂不朽，前面的是一个近似于正方形建筑——毛主席纪念堂。
The second stop is the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum is an ancient royal building with red walls and yellow tiles. We pass through the Meridian Gate and see the magnificent inside. We come to the hall of Supreme Harmony, which is the largest palace in the whole palace museum.
第二站，故宫，故宫是古代的皇家建筑物，那里是红墙黄瓦，我们穿过午门，只见里面富丽堂皇，来到太和殿这里是整个故宫最大的宫殿。
It is said that Taihe hall is the place where the emperor ascended the throne and went to court! Then we came to the imperial garden in the Forbidden City, where the trees are very tall, hundreds of years of towering trees, exotic flowers, everything. The air inside is very fresh.
传说太和殿是皇帝登基、上朝的地方呢！接着我们又来到了故宫里的御花园，里面的树木高大无比，上百年的参天大树，奇花异草，应有尽有。里面的空气很新鲜。
