MBA面试也像其他许多事情一样，取得成功也依靠某种恰当的方法和技巧。你不可能在短时间内使自己脱胎换骨，但你完全可能在短时间内给别人不同的印象。MBA面试有许多原则和技巧，最主要的有以下五条：

一、放松自己，不但是更好地回答面试官问题的需要，而且面试中的气质或印象分，在你没有开口说话之前，就开始形成，并影响面试给你的最终分数。

二、由于MBA面试的问题涉及面很宽，有些问题回答不好是很自然的事。所以，不要试图成功回答所有的提问，面试官也不指望你能回答好这些问题。对于一些不太好回答的问题，重要的不是看你回答问题的内容，而是你的反应，你分析问题、解决问题的方式、方法。

三、对不太容易回答的问题，可以有几秒钟的思考，但思考时间不可太长，面试官希望你有比较快的反应。这时你要根据提问，给出一个明确的是或否的回答，然后论证自己的观点。很多问题是没有标准，这时说理清晰，表达流畅，观点明确，分析透彻就能得高分，面试得高分的关键很多时候不在于回答问题的内容，而在于你如何回答。

四、自信是做好一切事情的基本素质，MBA面试更是如此。自信是MBA的基本素质和特征。有些考生不自信是因为太追求完美的表现，怕面试时出现偏题、怪题使自己失分。这完全没有必要。因为从本质上讲，考生不是和面试交锋，而是和其他考生交锋，你没有必要在面试现场征服面试，而只要在面试心中建立对其他考生的比较优势就行了。
