橘子洲头（OrangeBeach） orange continent head in changsha 橘子洲头在长沙 橘子洲，原名水陆洲、长岛，因洲上多美橘，故以为名。位于长沙市区的湘江中心，是一个长约十华里的长岛，是长沙市的重要名胜，是湘江下游众多冲积沙洲之一。橘洲西望岳麓山，东临长沙城，四面环水，绵延十里，狭处横约40米，宽处横约140米，形状是一个长岛，被誉为“中国第一洲”。橘子洲一词取自毛泽东《沁园春·长沙》：“独立寒秋，湘江北去，橘子洲头。看万山红遍，层林尽染；漫江碧透，百舸争流。”中“橘子洲”一词。
