英语书信的格式如下：
英文书信的格式：
1、信头：指发信人的地址和日期。写在信纸的左上角。
2、称呼：指对收信人的称呼。写在信头之下，从信纸的左边开始。
3、信的正文：指信的主体部分。从称呼的下一行第一段顶边写。从第二段起每段第一个词都缩进3或5个字母写。
4、结束语：指侍粗御正文下面的结尾客套话。一般从信纸的中央靠左写起，第一个字母大写，末用逗号。

感谢信的格式：
1.开头顶格“致XX的感谢信”——由感谢和文种名凳侍称组成的；
2.第二行顶格写称呼，写被感谢老岩的机关、团体或个人的名称或姓名，并在个人姓名后面附上“同志”等称呼，然后再加上冒号。
3.正文，感谢信的正文从称呼下面—行空两格开始写，要求写上感谢的内容和感谢的心情。
4.结语，写感谢信收束时表示敬意的话、感谢的话。如“此致敬礼”、“致以最诚挚的敬礼”等。
5.落款，感谢信的落款署上写信的名称或个人姓名，并且署上成文日期。前者在上，后者在下。

英语书信格式分一般格式和特殊格式。一般来说，英文书信包括：信头 (Heading)、日期(Date)、收信人姓名及地址(Inside Name and Address)、称呼 (Salutation)、信文(Body of the letter)、结束语(Complimentary close)、署名(Signature)和附言(P.S.)。信头，指的是写信人的地址。但是，地址的写法与中文的有区别，顺序应该从小到大。写日期的时候应注意，年份要写完整，月份除了May，July外，其他的月份可以使用缩写，但是不能使用数字来表示。写收信人姓名及地址的时候要注意使用称号，如对普通男子用Mr，对未婚女子用Miss，对已婚女子用Mrs等。称呼是指对收信人的称呼，一般会使用Dear。信文是信的主要内容，也是信的主体部分。署名的时候一般使用Yours。附言是当写信人突然想起还有事情要说的时候，在信的署名下面写上P.S，然后写上要补充的内容即可。
