1、sweeper 清道夫，拖后中卫

足球比赛中承担特定防守任务的拖后中卫之别称。1966年第8届世界足球锦标赛，在“固守稳攻”的战术思想影响下，为了加强防守，于后卫线后面安排一个队员，其职责是只守不攻，执行单一的补位防守任务，“打清”攻到本方球门前的球，因而得名。

2、total football 全攻全守足球战术

足球运动战术之一。一个队除守门员之外的10名队员都在进攻和防守的职责，称为“全攻全守”。根据比赛中攻与守的需要，每个队员都可到任何一个位置上发挥这一位置队员的作用。这一战术打破了阵式对队员的束缚，能充分调动和发挥队员的积极性的才能。

同时，对队员在身体素质、技术、战术和意志品质、战斗作风诸方面，也提出了更高的要求。1974年第10届世界足球锦标赛中，出现了这种打法，被誉为国际足球史上的第三次变革。

3、long pass 长传

长传是指运用远距离传球突破对方防线的一种战术方法，常用于快速反击或反越位战术。例如：防守球员在本方半场断球，便利用对方压上进攻，无法及时回防的机会，长传给前面的同队球员突破对方的防线，形成有效的进攻。

4、penalty kick 点球

点球 Penalty kick，全称：罚球点球。当比赛进行中，一队在本方罚球区内由于违反了可判为直接任意球的十种犯规之一，被判罚任意球，应执行罚球点球。罚球点球可以直接进球得分。在每半场比赛或决胜期上下半场结束时，应允许延长时间执行完罚球点球。

5、forward / striker 前锋

在足球运动中，比赛队员的位置名称。现代足球比赛中，球队都会排列出各种阵型进行比赛，阵型的主要目的是分布场上队员的位置，令队员因应各自的位置分工合作，而各种阵型基本都是分开三个区域来分布队员的，三个区域的表达方式是后场--中场--前场，前锋就是位于前场位置的队员称呼。

可细分为边前锋（简称边锋，正常位置在前场边路）和中前锋（简称中锋，正常位置在前场中路）。

足球（football），有“世界第一运动”的美誉，是全球体育界最具影响力的单项体育运动。标准的足球比赛由两队各派10名球员与1名守门员，总共22人，在长方形的草地球场上对抗、防守、进攻。

比赛目的是尽量将足球射入对方的球门内，每射入一球就可以得到一分，当比赛完毕后，得分多的一队则胜出。如果在比赛规定时间内得分相同，则须看比赛章则而定，可以抽签、加时再赛或互射点球（十二码） 等形式比赛分高下。足球比赛中除了守门员可以在己方禁区内利用手部接触足球外，球场上每名球员只可以利用手以外的身体其他部分控制足球（开界外球例外）。
