十月一日是我们的国庆节。
在我很小的时候，妈妈就对我说过，在每年的.这个日子，每一位中国人都要来庆祝这个节日。以前我还小，还不能理解“庆祝”的含义，但是现在我已经是二年级的学生了，当我看到报纸上、电视里播放的在国外的中国人庆祝的画面，我的心里就很冲动，也很想表达我自己的心情，可是我不知道能够用什么样的方式。
我问妈妈为什么海盐没有象别的地方一样，挂着满街的灯笼，还有表演，妈妈对我说，我们每个人都可以有自己庆祝国庆的方式，只要能够表达自己的心意就行了。
同学们，你们知道后来我是怎么庆祝国庆节的吗?我和妈妈找了红色和黄色的布头，亲手做了一面国旗，就放在我的房间里，每天清晨我睁开眼睛，第一眼就能看到它。
现在我知道了，不是说一定要用声声锣鼓表达爱国热情，只要在我的心里充满了对祖国的热爱，那也是我对祖国节日的庆祝。

When I was very young, my mother told me that every year of the year, every Chinese would have to celebrate the festival.
