Today is Friday. It is my thirteenth birthday. I got up very early in the morning and put on my new clothes happily. My parents bought me the new clothes as my birthday presents. I went to school earlier than before. I invited many of my classmates to come to my birthday party in the evening.
Evening came at last. Many of my classmate came to my home. they bought me lots of beautiful presents. they all said,"Happy birthday to you!" We sang birthday songs happily.then my parents brought out a big birthday cake, saying, "We love you for ever. Happy birthday!"
At the end of the party, we ate the birthday cake and some other delicious food. How happy I was!
It was Sunday. Our teacher Mr Zhu led us to a park nearby.Usually we go to the park to spend our holiday. But today we went there to take part in voluntary labour.
We got there at nine o’clock. Mr Zhu divided us into three groups and then we began working.
the students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. the studentsin Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourist. they also cleaned the benches in the park. I was in Group Three. We went to the children’s playground and cleaned all the equipment there. We worked very hard.
At about eleven we finished working. We met at the gate of the park. We all felt tired but very happy.
【写作指导：写作细节应该注意哪些问题】
1、选用典型细节。
细节描写在文章中不是越多越好，细节描写要能抓住典型细节，而应选择具有代表性、概括性、能反映深刻主题的事。这样才更具有广泛性，有利于突出文章中心，从而给人留下更为深刻的印象。比如，鲁迅在《祝福》里几次写到鲁四老爷“皱一皱眉”，这种面部表情的细微变化，便深刻地暴露出封建绅士厌恶寡妇、维护旧礼教的反动立场和丑恶灵魂。
2、细致观察事物。
要使得描写生动形象，在观察事物过程中，我们要调动自己的各种感官，对事物作非常细致的观察。每个人都有不同的性格特征，所以每个人说话、做事都会以不同的方式体现出自己的性格。我们要做的，就是认真地去观察，然后把它积累下来，作为写作的素材。写人是这样，细节描写用于写景、状物时，则要把握住景物的特征和变化。
3、细节描写要服从表现中心的需要，力求使细节具有深刻意义。
细节描写是一种以小见大的方法。细节的分量虽轻，容量却大，在我们选择细节的时候要从细微处着手、从大处着眼、小中见大，让小的细节反映人的`思想状况、社会风貌。
4、细节描写必须典型真实。
所谓真实，是指细节描写能够精确而又惟妙惟肖地反映现实生活中的人事的特征。所谓典型，是指描写的细节，具有广泛的代表性，能够通过个别的、细小的事物，反映一般与全貌，由现象揭示本质。比如朱自清在《背影》中对父亲爬月台时吃力样子和动作的描写，突出了父亲对我无私的爱，让每个读者感动不已。他的成功之处在于对父亲动作的细致观察和准确地表达。
5、精心锤炼词语。在细节描写中，我们要选择恰当的词语，以期以少胜多，乃至一字传神。
6、巧妙运用修辞。运用比喻、拟人、夸张等修辞格，可以增强语言的生动性，变抽象为具体，使无形变为有形。
7、善用标点符号：
鲁迅的小说《故乡》塑造了一个深受剥削压迫的淳朴农民的典型形象——闰土。小说在闰土的语言细节描写中，巧妙地借用标点符号，来表现闰土这二十多年来的变化。共有六句，其中却有了9个省略号，给人印象特别深的有这样两处：(1)见到“我”时，“闰土态度恭敬起来，分明的叫道：‘老爷!’……”(2)当“我”问他景况时，“他只是摇头，‘非常难，第六个孩子也会帮忙了，却总是吃不够……又不太平……什么地方都要钱，没有定规……收成又不好’”。第一句写闰土的变化，一声“老爷!”破坏了他们往日素朴的友谊，在他们情感交流之间，“已经隔了一层可悲的厚障壁了”。一个省略号，真实而细腻地表现了闰土矛盾、痛苦的心理及令人为之惋惜的悲哀的变化。第二句分明是写闰土性格变化的社会根源，省略号显示了他的声音低微，又断断续续，有说不出道不明的苦。而这苦正是“饥荒，苛税，兵，匪，官，绅”把他折磨成一个“木偶人”，使他走向麻木迟钝的深渊。这省略号里，浸透了闰土的血泪，包含了无数的人生辛酸悲凉。

其实周记就是每周一记，四年级也好，初中也好，高中也好，要求都是一样的。老师让大家写周记，就是每周把自己的所看到的、听到的、想到的、经历的东西记下来，形成的文字片断或一篇文章，一周写一则。
如果是一个片断，将事情写清就行了，当然，时间充裕，你可以将前因后果，你的想法补充完整，形成一篇文章。不论无论，周记没有什么特别的格式，跟我们平时说话写文章一样，要求就是条理清楚地说清一件事、一个想法。
周记的关键是要真，真事、真情、真想，不要虚构。用力表达你正经历的、正思考的事，对提高你的写作能力是有帮助的。

通过写周记提高写作能力是一个很不错的方法。但是大多数同学觉得可写的太少，不知道该写些什么。更有一些同学每次都马虎了事，胡乱写，以应付老师的检查。
那么怎样才可以写好周记呢？
我们都知道英语要学以致用，英语要慢慢积累。为了达到复习，巩固，运用每单元所学知识的目的，同时训练语言组织能力以及创新能力，特做如下建议：
1. 在模仿单元中的文章和对话的基础上进行个人发挥，编一个故事或者一段对话。或者将自己的感想以及其他的所见所闻，值得书写的内容写下来。
2. 尽可能将课本，阅读练习，作业，课堂，甚至课外学习到的那些单词，短语，句子运用到文章中。
3. 故事情节和逻辑性暂不做严格要求。
4. 7天里完成。老师严格检查作文的质量！
5. 科代表在向科任教师了解情况后，定期展出优秀文章，供同学们参考学习。或改编成短剧表演。
This week is really busy and crucial for me, as I have made up my mind to get some change and have a new beginning. Not everyone has the courage to change, since change means more difference and you need to adapt to the new environment while the recognition from others have to be re-established. But I don't want to waste my life any more and what I really want is an enriched life other than a boring one. People grow up while they experience challenges. The way how to face and handle challenges is hard to learn from others, and you have to experience it by yourself, just like the lyrics says, "Unable to see the rainbow without experiencing storm".
Everyone has to make choices and decisions, while it's hard for us to forcast whether it is right or wrong. Just think before you do and ensure that you have the impact *** ysis and you are ok to accept that. I have stayed in Shanghai alone for a week. It's time for me to go
to my real home—it is in Beijing. My parents are waiting for me.
Although outside is no matter how beautiful, Beijing is still my
home. In fact, there is many fresh things. Like red bayberries. In
the afternoon, I took a bus to Beijing. I was very unlucky that my
mp3 was stolen. I was very sad. I didn't know why thieves went to
steal other's things. Why don't they hunt for a job? I don't why!
I hope there is no thief in our motherland.

When I got home, it was very dark. Why? There is no electric. Every
year in Beijing, there is lack of electric to supply. Because there
are a lot of factories. And it is very cold in winter. So the
government decided: supply electric to resident and the factories
must stop working. My house is in the manufacturing district. I was
unlucky. It was very cold. So my father use the electric making
machine to make electric. Oh! What a unlucky winter!

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father's friends invited me
to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will
climb the hill to eat red bayberries. There is no chance to eat red

一、听专业讲座，了解周记写作范围
不少同学可能对周记的范围还比较陌生，对其写作用还只有一个模糊的概念。这就要求大家积极参加各种讲座，从而增长知识，开阔视野中，激发兴趣，打开写作的思路。我校的老师曾给同学们开了不少这方面的讲座，如：“口语与书面语的差异”，“中外写作思维模式比较”，“写作的层次”，“语法与写作”，“词汇与写作”，“中文与英文写作的共性与特殊性”等，从中同学们可了解到英文写作（当然也包括周记）的基础理论，对英文写作有一个理性的认识，以提高自己的信心。
二、找写作素材，确定周记写作内容
同学们学习了一些写作理论，并不意味着就能写周记。怎样找写作素材也是个大问题，否则就是“无米之炊”了。我们的建议是：在写作的起始阶段，大家可围绕日常课堂上学习的内容来写一点东西。例如：可根据单元学过的课文内容确定一个题目 （topic），根据这个题目写一段英文，此时素材是现成的，写起来比较方便。经过一个阶段的练习之后，同学们可每周自己选择题目（或根据老师布置的题目），再根据这个题目去找有关的范文，看看别人怎么写的，最后根据自己的情况，写出周记。这些题目一上来应集中在同学们比较熟悉的事物或人物上。这样写起来就有话可说。如：”My Hometown”,”My Father”,”My Favourite Season”等。
三、增加阅读数量，拓宽周记作思路
在经过一段时间的规定题材写作之后，同学们应增加自己的阅读量，拓宽臫的写作思路。因为周记毕竟不同于日记，它的写作范围要宽得多。同学们可根据自己平时感兴趣的题目或当前社会上比热门的话题来进行周记写作。如现在高科技是大家比较关心的问题，其中电脑（puter） 又是大家感兴趣的东西，当然这方面的材料，课本上、报纸上比较多。选这类话题写周记时，就有话可说，这不但能提高大家的英文写作水平，也能拓宽大家的知识面。
四、办习作园地，提高周记写作兴趣
为了检查一下自己的周记写作能力，同学们可自己组织办一些习作园地，将自己认为较好的作品公布出来，让大家来观摩、评论，以发现优点，找出不足。其中一些大家公认为比较好的文章，可通过老师（或自行投寄）投稿到校文播站或学生杂志上去。这样同学们便可得到成功的喜悦，提高写作的信心，增加英语学习的兴趣 。
只要同学们能做有心人，肯动脑筋，持之以恒，大家的周记写作能力一定会在不长的时间内得到大幅度的提高。
