I think this is a misunderstanding for the english learning, the word seems like the skeleton of english, it is very important to grasp them, which will also help us to grasp the relation beeen pronunciation and spelling.

Correct spelling is a basic skill in English study. However, nowadays many students do not pay much attention to it。

They have their own reasons for misspelling. First of all, they like an easy way of studying, which causes some omissions and changes in spelling. Second, the teachers might not be very strict in students' spelling. In China, teachers seem to be more concerned with grammar and vocabulary but not spelling。

To change this situation, in my opinion, the teachers and the students should work together. On the other hand, the students themselves are supposed to be aware that correct spelling is a must in English study。

To sum up, correct spelling is so important that both students and the teachers should spare no efforts to achieve correct spelling.

英语书写的重要性如下：

1、书法是孩子的第2张脸。看到漂亮英文，让人联想到孩子素质高、家教好，家长内心欢喜、舒心！

2、英文写得漂亮，改卷老师可能多给1-2分，少扣1-2分，差距可能2-4分！

3、分数改变孩子命运！可能是重点与普通，能否挑学校、挑专业，甚至有书读和没书可读的区别！中、高考1分有时甚至比金子还珍贵！每个人都可能因为1-2分被挡在理想之外。

4、唤醒孩子自信心。看到写出漂亮英文，孩子更有信心、更有自觉性学英语。

提高书写的方法：

1、握笔姿势。

握笔姿势一定要纠正，正确的姿势能让练习事半功倍。

（1）握笔处离笔尖三厘米左右，不要太低，也不要太高。

（2）笔杆和笔尖与纸面呈50-60度为宜，大拇指和食指分别握在笔两侧，笔靠在第一关节处。

2、书写工具。

中文硬笔书法无非就是铅笔，钢笔，中性笔。而英文书法可能会涉及到一些大家平时不常见的工具，所以根据所练的字体选择工具尤为重要。根据每个字体所用工具的不同我们大致可以把英文字体分为三类“点尖”“平尖”“日常”。

通常“点尖”和“平尖”都会用到蘸水笔，而“日常”字体则是提笔就写没有工具限制，练字初期尝试足够多的钢笔，选出适合自己的类型，然后在购买力许可的情况下，选最优质的买。
