短语类型
短语分为八类：名词短语，不定式短语，动词短语，同位语短语，分词短语，动名词短语，绝对短语和介词短语。

名词短语
名词短语由名词和修饰语组成，示例：

动词词组
动词短语由动词和修饰动词的词组成。
例子：

动名词短语
动名词短语是以充当名词的动词开头的名词短语。例子:
Walking in a thorny bush can be stressful.
不定式短语

名词性短语：
完整的名词短语由三个部分组成：限定词、修饰词、名词。名词短语的三个部分并非每一次都要同时出现，在特定场合下，这三个部分都有可能省略。
名词性短语（Noun phrase）是一个语法学术语，是指语法功能相当于名词的一类短语。名词短语可以充当句子中的主语、宾语、补语等成分。
公式：名词短语=前置定语+核心名词+后置定语。
详细公式：名词短语=限定词+形容词+名词+后置定语。
更详细公式：名词短语=前位限定词+中位限定词+后位限定词+形容词+名词+后置定语。
其中，名词一般不可少，前置定语和后置定语都是可以省略的。但也有省略名词的，比如：the rich，有钱人，就是省略了名词people，全称是：the rich people（所以谓语动词要用复数）。
