讲述的是今天的心情，那就应该用一般现在时，而不是一般过去时。

今天（我的）心情一般般用一般过去时翻译：

I was in an ordinary mood today.

心情应该有限定词，所以前面的主语 I 是变动的。可以是she、he、they、we等等，was根据主语的变化相应发生变化。

这顿饭平常得很。

It was just an ordinary house—nothing pretentious.

那只是一座普通的房子，没有故作特别。

3. 心情，

mood， /muːd/；

n. 心境，情绪；气氛，情感基调；态度，意愿；语气；

常见短语：

in a good mood，  心情好，好心情；

in a bad mood，  心情不好；处在不好的情绪中；

in the mood for，  有情绪去做…；

happy mood ， 快乐心情；

in no mood，  没有心情；

例句：

They arrive at the class in a bad mood, and they leave with a smile.

他们带着坏心情来上课，然后挂着微笑离开。

Luckily I was feeling in a good mood.

幸好我当时情绪好。

He is clearly in a good mood today.
