my most important day我最重要的一天i still can not forget that day though it has passed for years .这么多年来我依然无法忘记那一天。one day i was complaining that the homework is so easy for me that i don't actually need to do it ,my father told me a story which i gained a lot from it.一天，我正在抱怨老师留的家庭作业太简单了，我根本没必要做，父亲给我讲了一个让我获益匪浅的故事。he took a big jar,then put some potatoes into it until no more potatoes would fit inside .then he asked ,"Is the jar full?"他拿来一个罐子，用土豆填满，问道：满了么？i answered ,"of course."我回答说：当然he put some sugar in the jar, then shook the jar causing sugar to work themselves down into the space between the potatoes.他又放了一些糖在里面，摇晃让糖进入土豆的间隙。he asked once more,"Is the jar full?"他再一次地问："瓶子被装满了吗？"i hesitated,"perhapse!"我犹豫了：或许吧！he finally pulled some water into the jar until it was filled to the brim，and asked ,is it full ?他又倒了些水直到瓶口，问：满了么？i knew what he meant now.he was telling me that no matter how much i learned before,i still need to learn more.我现在明白他什么意思了，他在告诉我，无论我之前学了多少，我需要学的还很多。
