有关“花费”（金钱和时间）的有4个句型： 1）It takes sb+ 一段时间+ to do sth (做某事花费某人一段时间）(一般不和金钱连用） 2) sb spend + 时间或金钱 + on sth/(in) doing sth （某人在某事/某物/做某事方面花费时间/金钱）(解释：这个句型既可以和时间连用，也可以和金钱连用。后面加on sth时意思是在某物或某事方面，接做某事方面时介词in加不加都可以） 3）sb pay +金钱+for sth.（某人花费金钱买……）(一般不和时间连用） 4）sth cost sb+金钱 （某东西花了某人……钱）（注意主语是东西，宾语是人） 我买东西要花177元： I will spend 177 yuan on it. I will spend 177 yuan (in) buying it. I will pay 177 yuan for it. It will cost me 177 yuan.

如果是费用的花费，expense. Our expense of this month is 5000.我们这个月的花费是5000。如果是成本的花费或者是什么东西花费了你多少钱，cost. Its cost is too high. 它的花费（成本）太高了。 It cost me 500 yuan. （买这玩意儿）花了我500元。如果你是花费了多少钱，spend. I spent 500 yuan today.我今天花了500元。 I spent 5000 yuan on clothes this year. 我今年买衣服花了5000元（花了5000元在衣服上）。意思不同，用的词不同。
