To make friends, you must be friendly to others. Smile at others and you are sure to get a smile in return. You should try to make a stranger feel at home wherever he happens to be. Think more of others than of yourself and never judge a person by his appearance.Friends should be faithful to each other.(2)I prefer making friends on the Internet.Because it’s interesting to know a stranger through the Internet.But only a few of them have succeeded in getting a real good friend in this way. Most of them have been cheated. Some of them have committed crimes with the friends on line. So we should be careful of making friends on line. 2.Life on camps(1)How do you like your campus life?(2)Which courses do you like most? Why?(1)I like it very much. The college life is wonderful. All life in school are fresh. New teachers, new classmates and fresh friends are around me. I have felt their friendship, wide knowledge and opening mind. The library, school buildings and wide playground are very attracting to me. I am very eager to learn much knowledge quickly. I believe that I can spend a good time in the four years.(2)I like English most.Because it is useful and important. When I see the foreigners I can talk with them in English. Learning English can help us to understand many new books and movies. Some people may spend a long time on computer games,and they will fall behind in their studies.And besides,there are many deceitive informations on the Internet.So people sometime may be get cheated.(2)In a word, the computer has both advantages and disadvantages. But on the whole, it brings peop[e more benefits than harm. It is suggested that a clever use be made of this modern technique for the benefit of all people.only in this way can we make full use of computers.10.On Sexal Equality(1)Do you think women are less intelligent ,less capable than men? 首先感谢学校为我提供一次和各位同仁共同交流的机会,今天我代表高一英语课程小组谈一谈我们在教学中的一点做法,谈不上经验,更谈不上什么理论,仅供大家参考.一年来，高一英语课程小组在学校各级领导的关怀指导下，在教导处和教研处的直接领导下，按照部署，在本学年之初制定了工作计划，具体工作思路是：以“规范、落实、推进”为主线，即规范英语教学常规工作，落实英语教师个人课堂教学改进计划，推进教育服务。我们全组同志立足岗位，团结协作，求真务实，教书育人，顺利而圆满地完成了各项教育教学任务。为把今后工作做得更好，现从以下几方面加以回顾：一、 认真学习，转变观念，不断提高自身素质和业务能力。教育教学改革、素质教育的实施和教育现代化工程的推进，我们英语老师在教育思想、教学方式、教学手段等方面已有了“求变”的意识、渴望和尝试，但大多处在萌芽阶段、探索阶段，英语教师积极投身课程改革，获得一些宝贵经验，通过日常教学研讨、英语教师集体互帮备课。二、 加强教学研究，注重实效，努力提高课堂教学效益和教学质量。1、全组教师从自己现有的实际情况和客观条件出发，深入学习《基础教育课程改革纲要(试行)》和《新课标》精神，根据课程改革的目标，通过不断“调适”个人的教学习惯、行为方式、角色地位、教学策略，努力使自己的教育教学行为，落实到每位学生的发展上。2、倡导营造民主、平等、互动、合作的师生关系，在与学生交往互动、合作交流中情感交融中健全学生人格。掌握教材体系、基本内容及其内在联系，抓住主线、明确重、难点，搞清疑点，把握关键。精心设计教案，每课教案做到“七有”： 每单元有单元分析；有明确的教学目的；有具体的教学内容；有连贯而清晰的教学步骤;有启发学生积极思维的教法；有合适精当的练习；授课后及时反思本课教学的成功和失误，以便总结经验，改进教法，不断提高。3、在制定详尽有效的计划下，高一英语组的每一位成员都充满热情，素质好，能力强，工作认真负责。教研活动中，能积极主动的提出意见和创新见解，在交流中乐于得到共同提高。4、全组英语教师从点滴入手，了解学生的认知水平，查找资料，精心备课，努力创设宽松愉悦的学习氛围，激发兴趣，教给了学生知识，更教会了他们求知、合作、竞争，培养了学生正确的学习态度，良好的学习习惯及方法，使学生学得有趣，学得实在，确有所得，提高45分钟效益；教法切磋，学情分析，小组内交流都是大家随机教研的话题，扎扎实实做好常规工作，做好教学的每一件事，切实抓好单元过关及期中期末质量检测，真正将考试作为促进学生全面发展、促进教师提高改进教学的手段，查漏补缺，培优辅差，立足课堂，夯实双基。三、重视校本课程的开发和利用。外语的学习离不开气氛，我组老师有针对性地组织指导学生开展课外活动，特别是积极参加英语校本课程的学习。在高一的第二和第四学段，分别有马永兰老师，张兴田老师和本人参与了校本课程的开发和授课，选修的学生普遍反映很有收获。四、改进与发展努力方向。回首这一学年度的工作留下一串足迹，忙碌中也留下反思：1、每一位教师深信 “三人同行，必有我师”。互相学习，向书本学习、向网络学习，向别科组、别的老师学习，共同协作，取长补短。2、不拘一格，使用多种教学手段，上课形式多样生动，并多落实在平时教学中，让学生成为获益者。扎实做到课后反思、力求全面提高是每个老师的发展方向。3.多开展英语活动，形式丰富多样，让学生增加对这门学科的爱好，更增强兴趣，也是我们努力的方向；4.同时，扎扎实实上完每一堂课，达到教材要求的英语基本技能的落实，能面对期中、期末、质量调研检测。 5.使学生有一些实际的英语技能落实、掌握，为其进一步提高、深入学习创造好条件、打好基础，学有真正所得所知；不只会几个学生，努力面向全体学生，不到高三时尽量少两极分化，也都是我们每个教师今后也需继续做的内容之一，努力的方向之一。一份耕耘，一份收获。教学工作苦乐相伴。我们将本着“勤学、善思、实干”的准则，一如既往，再接再厉，把工作搞得更好。以上是本人的发言，定有不妥之处，恳请诸位同仁不吝赐教，谢谢！

Three students are watching NBA game or dancing program together. They discuss heatedly about their favorite player or contestant. The students are envious of the players' good shape. Then they share ways to keep in shape.6. Three freshmen are looking forward to joining some club. There are so many fascinating clubs in the university that they don't know which one to choose. They discuss and decide to join the club in which they can explore their interest or learn new things.7. A, B and C are talking about changes they want to make in their life. They take turns to give some suggestions.8. One day, student A came to student B and Student C's dormitory and found their dormitory in a mess. Then, Student B and C told Student A some of their bad habits and qualities. Students A tried to give them some advice on how to make a change.9. Three students are talking about their favorite cities to live in. A prefers Xiamen, B prefers Tibet, and C likes Taipei. They have different reasons, including cost of living, population, weather, transportation, crime, traffic, and pollution.10. A is coming to Xiamen to visit his friend B who is studying in Huaqiao University. This is the first time A has been in Xiamen, so he doesn't know how to get to the university from the Xiamen Train Station. Then he calls B and asks for directions. When A finally arrives at the university, he cannot find his way to the dormitory. Then student C tells A how to walk from the entrance gate to the dormitory.11. A, a college student, and B, a clerk working in a company, want to rent an apartment together. Now they are talking to C, a house agent. C introduces three apartments in different locations and with different prices, and settings. Of course they are furnished differently too. A and B have a heated discussion about which one to choose and C also offers his/her suggestions. Finally, they come to an agreement.12. A, B and C are looking at the pictures about some strange object-shaped houses.
