庙会的英文翻译

temple fair 请看《中国日报》的报道：Chinese still love visiting temple fairs during Spring Festival but organizers are adding more color and dimension to the events to keep pace with the times.春节期间，中国人还是喜欢去逛逛庙会。不过今年的庙会的形式和内容都扩展了很多，紧跟时代步伐。上面的报道里，temple fair 就是春节期间大家都喜欢逛的“庙会”，我们平时所说的“民俗庙会”就可以用 temple fair of folk custom 来表示。Fair 在这里表示“市集”，village fair 是“农村集市”，go to a fair 就是“赶集”了。Fair 这个词在很多场合都表示“展览会、交易会”，比如 China Import and Export Fair（中国进出口商品交易会），也就是我们知道的 Canton Fair （广交会），book fair（书展），industrial fair（工业品展销会）等。
