第一句：Ill go to your company tomorrow in person to talk about the claim.

是的，我们对带来的.麻烦感到抱歉。
A: According to the contract, you should compensate all our loss.

职场常用英语(二)
1. Youre in the pink!
要想说人气色好，"You look fine!"当然不错，可如果你说"Youre in the pink!"就妙得多了，实际上，在英语口语中，巧妙使用一些表示颜色的词能使得句子非常形象生动。
2. He is bouncy.
"他精力充沛"美国人通常说："He is bouncy."，而不说"He is energetic"，牢记一些日常对话中的句式是你生活中一把必备的钥匙。如：久仰，"I get mind of you"比"I heard a lot about you."轻松得多。
3. Did you get lost?
有人开会迟到了，你若对他说"You are late."，听起来像是废话。若说"Did you get lost?"，则更能让他感到歉疚，可千万别说成"Get lost!"，那可是让人滚蛋的意思。
4. Do you have the time?
别人征求你的意见，问能否开窗户等，你要是说"You can do that."就有点土了，用一句"Do you have the time?"就好多了。实际上，问他人的姓名，地址都可以这么用："May I have your name?"要比"Whats your name?"礼貌得多，不过警察例外。
5. I would rather not say.
别人问你不愿公开的问题，切勿用"Its my secret, dont ask such a personal question."回答，一来显得你没有个性，二来也让对方觉得你气短。你可以说"I would rather not say."(还是别说了吧)。
6. Its on the tip of my tongue.
有时候，你想说什么，可是想不起来，你可以说"Well…"、"Let me see."、"Just a moment."或"Its on the tip of my tongue."等。相比之下，最后一个句型是最地道的。
7. While I remember…
交谈时，你可能会转换话题，不要只说"By the way"，实际上，"To change the subject"、"Before I forget"、"While I remember"、"Mind you"都是既地道又受欢迎的表达。
8. I got it.
遇到你不懂的问题时可别不懂装懂，"I know"可能是被中国人用得最多，而最不被美国人接受的一句话。当一个美国教师向你解释某个问题时，你如果连说两遍"I know"，我敢保证，他不会再跟你说什么了。用"I got it."就顺耳得多，要是不懂就说"Im not clear about it."。不过如果你会说"Its past my understanding."或"Its beyond me."，你的教师一定会惊讶不已的。
9. The meeting was scheduled for two hours, but it is not over yet.
会议原定两个小时，不过现在还没有结束。
10. Would you care to see it/sit down for a while?
你要不要看/坐一会呢?
11. Im supposed to go on a diet/get a raise.

A boy found an eagle's egg and he put it in the nest of a prairie chicken. The eagle hatched and thought he was a chicken. He grew up doing what prairie chicken do-scratching at the dirt for food and flying short distances with a noisy fluttering of wings. It was a dreary life. Gradually the eagle grew older and bitter. One day he and his prairie chicken friend saw a beautiful bird soaring on the currents of air, high above the mountains.
"Oh, I wish I could fly like that!" said the eagle. The chicken replied, "Don't give it another thought. That's the mighty eagle, the king of all birds-you could never be like him!" And the eagle didn't give it another thought. He went on cackling and complaining about life. He died thinking he was a prairie chicken. My friends, you too were born an eagle. The Creator intended you to be an eagle, so don’t listen to the prairie chickens!
一个小男孩发现了一只老鹰下的蛋，把它放进了一只山鸡的窝里。鹰被孵出来了，但他以为自己是一只山鸡。渐渐的他长大了，却做着山鸡所做的事---从泥土里寻找食物，做短距离的飞翔，翅膀还啪啪作响。生活非常沉闷，渐渐地鹰长大了，也越来越苦恼。有一天，他和他的山鸡朋友看见一只美丽的鸟在天空翱翔，飞的比山还高。
“哦，我要能飞的那么高该多好啊!”鹰说。山鸡回答说，“不要想了，那是凶猛无比的鹰，鸟中之王---你不可能像他一样!”于是鹰放弃了那个念头。他继续咯咯地叫，不停的抱怨生活。最后他死了，依然认为自己是一只山鸡。朋友们，你们天生就是雄鹰。造物主有意把你造就成一只雄鹰，所以不要听信山鸡的话!
英语励志故事2
When Henry ford decided to produce his famous v-8 motor, he chose to build an engine with the entire eight cylinders cast in one block, and instructed his engineers to produce a design in one for the engine. The design was placed on paper, but the engineers agreed, to a man, that it was simply impossible to cast an eight-cylinder engine-block in one piece.
Ford said, “Produce it anyway.”
“But,” they replied, “It’s impossible!”
“Go ahead.” Ford commanded, “And stay on the job until you succeed, no matter how much time is required.”
The engineers went ahead. There was nothing else for them to do, if they were to remain on the ford staff. Six months passed and nothing happened. Another six months passed, and still nothing happened. The engineers tried every conceivable plan to carry out the orders, but the thing seemed out of the question:“impossible!”
At the end of the year ford checked with his engineers, and again they informed him they had found no way to carry out his orders.
“go right head,” said ford, “I want it, and I’ll have it.”
They went ahead, and then, as if by a stroke of magic, the secret was discovered.
The ford determination had won once more!
This story may not be described with minute accuracy, but the sum and substance of it is correct. Deduce from it, you who wish to think and grow rich, the secret of the ford millions, if you can. You’ll not have to look very far.
Henry ford was successful, because he understood and applied the principles of success. One of these is desire: knowing out the lines in which the secret of his stupendous achievement have been described. If you can do this, if you can lay your finger on the particular group of principles which made Henry ford rich, you can equal his achievements in almost any calling for which you are suited.

工程师只得着手去做。如果他们还想呆在福特的公司里讨生活，就别无他途可行，值得去做。过了半年，没有动静。又过了半年，一样没有半点进展。工程师们试过了所有想得出来的计划去执行命令，结果仍然是：“不可能!”
过了一年，福特的工程师们都没有进展，他们再次告诉他，他们想不出有什么办法可以做到的指示。
“继续做，”福特说。“我要八汽缸引擎，就一定要做到!”
他们继续努力，然后仿佛如有神助似的，做法出笼了。
福特的决心又打赢了一仗。
这个故事也许说的不够详尽，但是故事的内容却都是“如假包换”的。要想致富的你，从这个故事可以推算出福特百万家财的秘密何在。务须舍近求远，就在眼前。
