Rapidly updated technology motivates us to conduct self study projects. It is always better to actively look information up than passively gaining knowledge from our teachers, parents, and peers.
On the other hand, it wastes tons of our time, effort, and money if technology updats too fast. For example, Apple promotes their new products very frequently. It almost seems like there is a new version of iPhone every year. Many of the customers just saved enough money to by iPhone 5, then iPhone 6 is out already.
All in all, I believe that scientist should conscientiously control the rate of technological development to balance the demands and the affordability of our society.

时间很紧张，但是可以掌握些技巧。
本人是大学英语老师。
因为我们以前英语专业毕业是考专业八级，所以我自己没有考过大外四级。
但我从老师的角度提供一些建议，都是我考试前发给我自己学生的tips：对付四级考试最有效的法就是从历年真题入手（网络上可下载、或者去购买真题点评的书），学习步骤是（1）在规定时间内完成练习，核对答案，分析错误原因；（2）精读听力原文和阅读了解的文章；（3）跟读听力；朗读阅读的文章。
一分耕耘一分收获，有付出肯定有回报！在平时总结自己的薄弱项，专门攻克这些分项。
单词的话就是平时多途径积累，背单词，这是基础。
但是可以把常见的，考过的单词集中起来，有就是我们平时说的“高频词汇”，复习就有针对性了，也省时间。
听力，坚持每天都听，重在反复。
听的内容不要求很难，最好是你大部分听得懂，关键在于反复听。
如果你长时间不听，你会发现你对听力的反应特别慢，所以一定要坚持。
小窍门就是在着急的时候要学会简写缩写，一个没跟上也要往下跟着走，不能因小失大。
听力对完答案后不要急着看原文，先把答案分析下，然后继续听一遍。
如果这时候你能找到问题的关键句就可以了。
如果不行就看原文，然后再回去做一遍，直到自己可以听懂原文为止。
大多听力题目的思路是一样的，问题也是一个套路，可以找到规律的。
而且不要在睡觉前听，不然你考试时候形成条件反射，一听见播音就犯困了。
阅读能力也是培养出来的，可以看小说或者报纸，作用很大，可以潜移默化地提高单词量，不知不觉中，积累一些好的词汇和句子了。
还可以扩充你的知识面，增强语感。
考试的时候，先看问题，再画好关键词，再读原文可以快一些。
选择答案时不要选那些绝对化说法的答案。
此外，平时做练习时候一定要掐表算时间，很多学生都是会做却来不及，就可惜了。
如果实在不够时间，作文千万不要少一段，因为段落结构不完整的话基本都是打不及格的。
一定要快速弄出一个结尾段，总比没写好。
可以背诵一些精彩的转折用语，因为英语作文强调结构严谨，起承转合非常重要，用一目了然的关键转折词可以对你的分数大有好处。
可以借鉴一些精彩的开头句，过渡句，或者结尾句，注重每一段显眼的地方。
考试前几天就要调整好作息时间，以免考试时候是你平时的睡觉时间，犯困就难免了。
要把效率最高的时间段安排在上午的考试时间段。
最后，要检查该带的各种东西，铅笔，证件什么的。

My Dream 英语作文 When I was a naughty boy, may be because of the influence of the film."Xiao Bing Zhang Ga",my dream was to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga.
