I have recently made a survey among 30 boys and 30 girls in my class about their purposes of surfing the Internet. The girl’s favourite is chatting, but only a few boys like it. What the boys like to do most is playing games and about 18 percent of girls also like it. Both boys and girls like to read news or send e-mails on the Internet. Maybe they think it is the most convenient way to get information or keep in touch with friends. Only 10% of the boys use the Internet for stud, and so do the girls. That’s what we should care more about. In my opinion, we can get a lot of information and fun from the Internet. It is good. But as we are students, study is our main task.
