这是英语年月日的显示方式，通常用于计算机设置，当然也常见于各种编程语言（格式）。意思就是用两位数来显示月份、月中某天、年份。以今天为例就是：12/04/14

这不是英文单词而是年月日。MM/DD/YY就是 月/日/年 。这是美国的日期写作方式。
