quantitative research:定量研究通过统计、数学和计算机技术来对资料或信息进行研究。定量研究方法一般会经历获得数据、数据预分、数据分析和分析报告四个阶段。其目标是开发出一套针对这个现象的数学模型、理论 或/和假说。qualitative research 质性研究是一种在社会科学及教育学领域常使用的研究方法,通常是相对量化研究而言。质性研究实际上并不是一种方法,而是许多不同研究方法的统称,由于他们都不属于量化研究,被归成同一类探讨。其中包含但不限于民族志研究,人类学研究,论述分析,访谈研究等。质性研究者的目的是更深入了解人类行为、及其理由。质性研究方法调查人类决策制定的理由和方法,而不只是人做出什么决定、在何时何处做出决定而已。 因此,相对于量化研究,质性研究专注于更小但更集中的样本,产生关于特定研究个案的资讯或知识。
