词语用法：

1、英语语法中只有avoid sth和avoid doing sth这两种用法，avoid to do sth是不存在的！

2、avoid sth和avoid doing sth都表示避免的意思，不同点在于avoid sth后边接的是名词/代词，而avoid doing sth后边接的是动名词（即动词要改成ing形式）。

例如：No one can avoid  his own responsibility.  没有人能够逃避自己的责任。

He'll grab at any excuse to avoid doing the dishes.  他会随便找个借口来逃避洗碗。

avoid是典型的只能加动名词的动词。还有很多此类含有否定意义的词都加动名词，自己可以去总结下，对比分析就知道了。否定的东西都是不希望发生的，而 不定式结构都是带有将来的某种可能性，所以语意上是冲突的。不适合带不定式。但也有个别例外，例外的情况意思也变了，也是好理解的。

英语中，有avoid sth和avoid doing sth，没有 avoid to do sth 。 它们意思一样，都是“避免。。。”的意思，只是avoid sth接的是名词或代词，avoid doing sth 接的是动名词。如adoid the accident“避免事故”，advoid being injured“避免受伤”.
