元宵节快乐！                      Happy Lantern Festival!每天一幅，断断续续地画了五天，终于在中国新年的最后一天-元宵节画完了。 -- Rainbow的第一本简笔画故事绘本   《Lantern Festival "灯节"》                      【1】 这是一个有关元宵节的传说。This is the legend about the Lantern Festival 很久很久以前，天上有个皇帝叫玉帝。玉帝有个好朋友，叫神鸟。Long long time ago, in heaven lived an Emperor. Emperor Jade had a good friend, called Magic Bird. 但是有一天，地上的人们不小心射中了神鸟，将它杀死了。玉帝听说此事，非常非常生气。But one day, people on earth accidentally shot the Magic Bird. And when Emperor Jade heard that the Magic Bird had been killed, he was very very angry. 他命令天上的士兵，在正月十五的晚上，把人间统统烧光。 He ordered all the heaven soldiers to burn up the world on the 15th day of the first lunar month. 【2】 玉帝的女儿非常善良。她不希望看到人间被烧光。于是她赶快来到人间把这个消息告诉大家。 Emperor Jade's daughter was kind, she didn't want the world to be burnt up, so she went down to the world in hurry to tell everyone the news. 【3】 一个聪明人说："正月十五的晚上，请所有人点上灯，且燃放爆竹"。 A clever man said:"During that night, please light up all the lanterns and set off all the fireworks." 【4】 正月十五的晚上，玉帝看到四处是火光，以为是士兵放火了，心里十分高兴。 At the night of the 15th, Emperor Jade saw the burning fire, he thought it was the fire set by the soldiers. So he was very happy.其实人们是举着灯在庆祝胜利呢。 In fact, people were holding lanterns to celebrate Victory. 后来，每年的正月十五，家家户户都挂着灯。于是人们就把这一天叫做"灯节"。 Later on, every 15th day of the first lunar month, people would hang up the lightened lanterns. And this day each year was then called the Lantern Festival.
