2001年引进澳大利亚”看词能读，听音能写“语音教学法，提出“授人以鱼，不如授人以渔”。2002年成为在六盘水建立教学点最多，影响力最大的学校。2003年我校申请并成为了国家基础教育实验中心、国家外语教育中心的“婴儿英语实验基地”。2003年我校成为“全国青少年技能大赛”六盘水活动站和六盘水组委会2003年我校在花渔洞路口建立“小星星英语学校综合教学楼”。2003年在贵州省推行全国英语等级考试（pets）起，我校首次派两名初中低年级学生蒋元恒、范煜参加pets1并通过pets1考核颁发相关证书达到了初中优秀毕业生水平。2005年01月, 我校学生分别荣获全国英语技能大赛荣获小学a组英语朗诵一等奖、全国英语技能大赛荣获小学a组英语歌曲二等奖、全国英语技能大赛荣获小学a组口语三等奖、全国英语技能大赛荣获小学b组英语歌曲三等奖、全国’北大之星’英语朗诵比赛二等奖、’凉都之星’英语竞赛儿组特等奖、’凉都之星’英语竞赛幼儿组一等奖、’凉都之星’英语竞赛幼儿组二等奖。’凉都之星’英语竞赛小学a组特等奖、’凉都之星’英语竞赛小学b组一等奖、’凉都之星’英语竞赛小学b组二等奖、全市英语歌曲大赛初中组二等奖等。2005年07月，我校总部搬迁到金山角小区2栋2层, 整个二楼均为我校。2005年11月, 我校成为中华全国商业联合会会员单位。2006年2月27日，全国加盟校已达到500家。2006年5月3日，我校幼儿园学生参加全国‘北大新星’英语口语朗诵北京决赛荣获‘北大新星’幼儿组特等奖、幼儿组一等奖。2006年6月，我校参加的国家教育部考试中心主办的全国英语等级考试过级率100%。而初三学生范馨月通过全国英语等级考试（pets2）到达国家教育部考试中心颁发的二级证书相当于优秀高中生的水平。2006年7月后，我校将接受昆特兰大学相关院、系的优秀学生到中国进行的文化交流与实习、实践活动；昆特兰大学将接待我校学生赴加拿大参加夏令营、冬令营，并直接接受我校的学生、教师赴该校进修、留学。小新星如一只浴火的凤凰 ，经历了一次次火的洗礼从小星星----小新星---北大新星------国际新星！ 2006年8月六盘水小新星英语学校六枝分校成立。校舍面积500平方米。 2006年10月六盘水小新星英语学校行政校长李永红顺利当选为钟山区第六届人大代表。 2006年11月六盘水市小新星英语学校工会委员会成立。
