My Favourite SeasonAlthough winter means cold weather, I love it all the same. I think winter is a beautiful season, especially when it snows. Snowflakes fall down naughtily. They fall on branches of trees, on roofs of houses and on wheat fields. Soon the whole earth will be dressed in white. Everything is shining in the sun. Every time it snows, I will remember an old saying, "Winter has come, can spring be far away?' My BirthdayYesterday was My 7years birthday. My parents had a birthday party at home. I invited my friends to come to the party. At the party. They gave me many small presents. Such as cards, picture books, pens and so on. They sang Happy Birthday to me. My mother made a big cake for me. I cutted the cake into small pieces and gave them out. we sang and danced. We had a good time at the party.My favourite fruitI like bananas very much.Bananas usually grow in the warm area. They are very delicious, and they are very good for our health.Like me, monkeys also like to eat bananas. You can see this in the zoo.Bananas are my favourite fruit.A diaryToday my parents took me to my grandfather’s house. I played with my cousin. THE NEWSPAPER 报 纸 Nowadays the newspaper possesses considerable value Everybody should read it. It supplies us with a variety of news every day. It tells us the political situation of the world. If we form the habit of reading the newspaper, we shall (will) get enough knowledge to cope with our circumstances. 现今报纸拥有极大的价值，人人都应该看它。它每天提供我们各种类类的消息。它告诉我们世界政治局势。如果我们养成看报的习惯，我们就能得到足够的知识来因应我们的环境。 学生虽然每天须做功课，但他们至少应该匀出一两个小时来看报。哪些，他们不但能增加知识而且也能赶上时代。总而言之，看报对学生很有益处。 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MY DAILY LIFE 我的日常生活 Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my country. I get up at six o’clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock. After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o’clock. Then I begin to do my homework. Dear LilyI am very glad to hear from you. I am very busy this term. I get up very early every day. After having breakfast, I go to school by bus.Class begins at half past seven. We have four classes in the morning and three in the afternoon. There are lots of different after-school activities. I like playing basketball so I take Basketball Club. I often play basketball with my friends for about an hour at school. I always get home at 5:30. After dinner I do my homework and then I surf the internet and read books.

When I was small, I like to eat candy so much, I would always ask my parents to buy candy for me. In order to eat all kinds of candies, I wanted to open a candy shop when I grew up, this is my dream. Before I went to high school, I lived with my parents all the time, so I don’t have much idea about home. In my opinion, home was the place for me to live in. But when I went to the boarding school, I had to leave my home and live in the school. This was the first time for me to be far away from home. I missed home all the time, the longer time for I left, the more I missed my families. When I had the holiday, I rushed to home, I couldn’t wait to see my families. Now, I get the meaning of home, it is not just a place for me to live in, it is also my safe place. No matter where I go, or what kind of difficulty I meet, my family supports me all the time. 人们总是说回到甜蜜的家，毫无疑问，对每个人来说，家是很重要的。在我上高中以前，我一直和父母住在一起，因此我对家的认识并不多。在我看来，家是我住的地方。但是当我去到寄宿学校，我不得不离开家，住在学校。这是我第一次远离家。我总是想念家，我离开的时间越长，就越想念家人。当我有假期了，我就跑回家，等不及要去见家人。如今，我懂得了家的意义，这不仅仅是我住的地方，也是我的安全地带。无论我去哪里，或者遇到什么困难，我的家人都会支持我。
