fall off下降, 跌落, 减少, 衰退, 离开;fall over落在...之上, 脸朝下跌倒;fall in(房屋等)坍下, 倒塌, [军]集合, 同意, (债务等)到期;fall down:倒下, 跪拜 fall throw:背摔（跆拳道）。
take a tumble强调的是突然摔倒a sudden fall。这个表达也常用来物价的暴跌。
slip表示accidentally slide and lose balance，滑倒。
