Nowdays,western holidays such as Valentine's day,Christmas are more and more popular in China while our own traditional holidays are being ignored. The phenomenon is caused by many reasons.First of all,with the development of economy,our country have more chances to communicate with other countries.Secondly,triditional holidays are familiar to our people,and we are interested in these fresh holidays.At last,the way of expressing our emotions in western holidays is obvious as well as convenient.For example,Qiqiao festival and Valentine's day are both the festival for sweethearts,but there is no doubt that Valentine's day is more fasinating to sweethearts than Qiqiao festival.
