英语作文推荐信这一类的文章多变性很强，有的是向某个公司或者大学推荐人才，也有的是向某位朋友推荐大学、活动、书籍、电影亦或是旅游地点等等。
①Hearing / Learning / Knowing that your company are looking for ... ，I'm writing to recommend xxx to you.
听到/学习/知道你们公司在寻找....，我写信向你推荐xxx。
②Delighted to learning that you are seeking for ..., sb./sth. may be your second to none choice.

1、哪些人都适合作为你留学申请的推荐人
推荐人中应该有一到二位是申请人的任课老师、导师、系主任或院系领导。已经工作的申请人最好请你的上司写一篇推荐信。若能找到相关专业领域的学术权威或有国际知名度的教授（比如在国际性刊物上发表学术论文的人）担任推荐人，则会对申请有一定的帮助；但不必强求，如果推荐人不了解你，则即使写了推荐信也不能让对方学校的评审委员信服。
2、确定好推荐人后，需要核实基本信息
推荐人的名字
职称（教授，副教授，高级工程师等）
职位（系主任，副院长，院长，总部门主管，总经理等）
联系方式（最好选用推荐人的办公室座机电话，如果没有可以提供私人手机号或者家庭联系电话）
邮箱（最好是学校edu后缀或者单位官方域名结尾的官方邮箱地址，如果没有可以提供私人邮箱地址）
联系地址（学校老师的可以选择提供学校的地址，公司领导的可以提供公司地址，这里注意：不建议提供推荐人的家庭住址）
3、推荐信需要包含哪些内容
推荐人必须和申请人有一定的接触，他/她可以从学术成绩、科研能力和潜力、性格、特长、语言能力等各个方面推荐申请人。每个推荐人只应该评论与申请人接触到的方面，不能面面俱到。
