因为俗话说“不是冤家不聚头”。作为同行、同事，必然要打交道，肯定要磕磕碰碰，就常常被看作冤家，乃至对手。其实呢，同行不是冤家。假如以每个人每天工作8小时来计算的话，人们从参加工作到正式退休，差不多有1/3的时间都在跟同事相处。所以，同事关系对于一个人来讲是最重要的人际关系。 导致“同行是冤家”：原因之一：争强好胜惹的祸。 毕业于名校、能力出众的李海刚到单位工作时，为了突出自己的能力，不仅把自己的工作做好，还处处帮助同事。一开始，同事们还很喜欢他的，可后来他发现同事们个个都疏远他，部门主管也时常刁难他，这让他一头雾水。 后来听到同事在背后的“议论”才发现，自己在他们眼里“锋芒毕露、争强好胜，看似帮助同事，实则在为自己的功劳簿上添功”。同事小陈说：“他这个人虽然没有害人之心，但太过于表现自己了，总把别人看成自己的竞争对手，而想方设法压倒别人，特别是有领导在场的时候他更这样。那次，我的电脑遇到了一个小问题，我叫钱姐帮忙，当钱姐正在帮我做事的时候，李海却跑过来抢了钱姐手里的工具修起了电脑，还说‘这么简单的事都不会做，你真笨’。虽然电脑修好了，但我心里一点也不舒服，人家又没叫你来帮忙。” 李海听了此话，心里一凉：我在他们眼里怎么就成了这种人呢！

结论：很多大学生朋友都认为，刚工作时一定要突出自己的能力，只有这样才能坐稳自己的位置，因此，在工作就得处处争强好胜，把自己的能耐表现出来。但他们没有想到“欲速则不达”、过犹不及，处处锋芒毕露只能引起同事的反感。而正确的做法是，帮助同事要有诚心，表现能力要不温不火。

原因之二：嫉妒让我吃了亏 罗敏到新单位工作时，原以为自己有学历最高，能力最好，在工作中时常表现出自满的情绪。有一天，部门主管给他分配了一个很简单的任务，可罗敏偏偏没能完成，后来求助于同事陈飞才顺利交差。为此，主管表扬了陈飞说：“虽然陈飞学历不高，但操作能力强，大家都应该向他学习……” 就这么一句表扬，罗敏心里很不是滋味，在以后的工作中，他总想挑陈飞的刺，出他的丑。可陈飞总是很坦诚地向他学习，并不生气。结果，时间久了，罗敏给同事们留下了嫉妒心强的不好印象，也因此在后来的主管选拔中，罗敏败给了陈飞。罗敏叹气道：“嫉妒让我吃了不小的亏！”

结论：同事之间难免存在着各种各样的利害关系，也极容易产生嫉妒心理，这是很正常的，但要妥善处理。三国时周瑜和诸葛亮就是这样，周瑜气量狭小，以至于临死时还发出了“既生瑜何生亮”的感慨。所以，当你看到了同事的成就而心生嫉妒时，不妨多想想同事在取得成功过程中所付出的心血和艰辛劳动，再把它和自己的努力比一比，这样一来你就会心平气和些，你就能把消极的嫉妒同事转变为佩服同事了。
