学士是高等教育本科阶段授予的学位名称，大体可依学科类别分为理学学士、工学学士、文学学士、社会科学学士等。有些院校会提供衔接学士课程，予副学位课程毕业生升读。
学士学位，是高等教育本科阶段授予的学位名称。在中国学位结构中为基础学位，由国务院授权高等学校授予。由学位授予单位依照本单位的学位授予条件和《中华人民共和国学位条例》的相关规定进行授予。

国外学位也分为三种：学士、硕士和博士。具体如下：

我不知道专科学位方面的英文解释，不过我的词典上面有大专的翻译,可供参考（来自《朗文英汉双解词典》第754页，外语教学与研究出版社出版，1992年5月第一版）：junior college本科毕业后获得学士学位,英文是 bachelor说全了是 bachelor's degree比如:文学学士,bachelor of literature 对于bachelor of science，我不确定中文译法，不过很少说科学学士的。工学学士是 bachelor of engineering（请高手确认一下）研究生分两种，硕士毕业获得硕士学位，master 博士毕业则是doctor，有时可以译作PHD 医学硕士 master of medical不正确，个人感觉是master of medicine顺便补充几个词组：助教：teaching assistant讲师 lecturer副教授 associate professor教授 professor博士生导师：doctoral supervisor或者是PHD supervisor

1、education主要指在学校里所受的正规的“教育”。用于技能方面时,可表示“培养,训练”,着重于经过教导、学习所得到的知识与能力。有时还可表示“教养,修养”。
2、education一般用作不可数名词。但表示一段或一种“教育”时,其前可加不定冠词; 在有形容词修饰时,则一定要加不定冠词。
词义辨析：
education, culture这两个词的含义有区别:education强调通过教育得到的知识与能力,而culture则强调通过教育得到的素质上的提高。例如:
有教养的人喜欢好的音乐。
