Basic rules of basket ball Basket ball is played with a length of 28m and a width of 50m court perferable on wooden floor. It is played by two opposing teams of five players with five or in some cases seven substitutes on both boys and girls teams. The object of the game is to gain possession of the bass, to advance in to a scoring position by passing and to throw it through the opponent goal. The team that doesn't have possession of the ball attempts to stop its opponents frm scoring and to secure possession of the ball itself in order to score at the other end of the playing court. A field goal counts two points. A free throw, given for an infringement of a playing rule counts one point. In basketball, a team is composed of two forwards, two guards and a center. In general, the forwards play in half of the court containing the goal the opponents are defending and the guards play in the other half court. A jump ball at the center circle starts the game at the beginning of each half. After a field goal, the ball is put back in play by the team scored upon through a throw in from out of bounds behind their basket. Free throws from he free throw line are awarded to players who have specifically defined fouls committed against them by opposing them members or their representatives. For various less serious violations of playing rules, a team loses possession of the bass. In certain situations, when aspects of a playing situations are not clear cut, the officials may call for a jump ball between two opposing players. Substitutes may be made under certain conditions, and a limited number of timeouts may be taken by each team. The game will be won by the team that scores the most points with in the allocated playing time.

Nowadays, there're so many pop singers and bands around China. We can hear all kinds of songs. Some bands are really good, like S.H.E, Twins and so on. But My favorite band is called Nanquan Mama, a new band discovered by Jay Chou. Nanquan was orgnized in the last summer. Their fist album was "the Summer of Nanquan Mama",which was not popular at first. But after a few weeks, it sold quite well, once became the bestseller. Many songs sound quite beautiful. Thanks to Jay's help, Nanquan grows very quickly. This summer, they issued their second album"the second meal". In the future, I hope Nanquan will do better and better. Maybe it will become the best band in China! Thank you!
