Some hold that priority should be given to their interest in jobs, but others take the attitude that salary is the most critical factor influencing their career choices.

As to myself, I prefer the latter view. A well-paid job exerts a tremendous fascination on a great number of people, with no exception to me. Although it might be impossible to measure the value of one’s job in terms of money, salary counts most when I choose my future career. In my view, our career choices largely depend on how and where we have been brought up. come from a poor urban family and my parents were both laid-off workers. In order to finance my tuition, they have been working hard over the past four years. As the only son in my family, I have to shoulder the burden of supporting my family.

In short, salary is the first and only consideration in my choice of career.

making friends is a skill like many other skills. it improves with practice. if you want to meet people and make friends, you must be willing to take some actions. you must first go where there are people. you won’t make friends staying home alone. join a club or a group. taking with those who like the same things as you do is much easier. or join someone in some activities. many people are nervous when talking to new people. after all meeting strangers means facing the unknown. and it’s human nature to feel a bit uncomfortable about the unknown. most of our fears about dealing with new people come from doubts about ourselves. we imagine other people are judging us of finding us too tall or to short, too this or too that. but don’t forget that they must be feeling the same way. try to accept yourself as you are and try to put the other person at ease. you’ll both feel more comfortable.

try to be self-comfident even if you don’t feel that way. when you enter a room full of strangers, such as a new classroom, walk tall and straight, look directly at other people and smile.

if you see someone you like to speak to, say something . don’t wait for the other person to start a conversation.

just meeting someone new does not mean that you will make friends with that person-friendship is based on mutual liking and “give and take”. it takes time and effort to develop.

last month，we moved into a new high-rise building in minghang part. the new house is much larger and comfortable than the old one.what’s more important is that it is a school district housing, which means that we can learning in the magnet school.

a big fountain plaza is located in front of my house, and there are many beautiful flowers around it. if the weather is sunny, many old people and children will go out for a walk in the garden.

my new house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sitting room, a kitchen and a big balcony. the smallest one is a baby room, while the other two are for me and my parents.
