电灯的工作原理：
1、电灯是将电能转化为光能，以提供照明的设备，出现于第二次工业革命，其工作原理是：电流通过灯丝（钨丝，熔点达3000℃以上）时产生热量，螺旋状的灯丝不断将热量聚集，使得灯丝的温度达2000℃以上，灯丝在处于白炽状态时，就像烧红了的铁能发光一样而发出光来。
2、灯丝的温度越高，发出的光就越亮。故称之为白炽灯，从能量的转换角度看，电灯发光时，大量的电能将转化为热能，只有极少一部分可以转化为有用的光能。电灯发出的光是全色光，但各种色光的成份比例是由发光物质（钨）以及温度决定的。
