在周末美式英语

weekend前的介词只能用at或on，区别为意思不同、用法不同、侧重点不同，用法如下：

一、意思不同

1、at the weekend：在周末。

2、on the weekend：在周末，在这个周末，美式英语。

二、用法不同

1、at the weekend：表时间时，指在时间上的某一时刻。at通常指确切的某个时刻。at the weekend在周末(英国用法)。

2、on the weekend：表时间时，指在某一天或某一天的某个时间，尤指在星期几。 on则具体说明哪一天的上午或下午。on the weekend在周末(美国用法)。
