一、注意克服紧张的心理
听力测试题不同与书面题,它的答题速度是由命题人统一掌握的,录音材料转瞬即逝,且做完后不能回头检查没有听懂的地方。因此,考生的紧张情绪在所难免。为了缓解考生的紧张情绪,在听力测试进行前,会播放一段音乐,此时,考生应随着音乐的节奏,尽量放松自己,调整自己的呼吸,使自己心态尽量平稳,充满信心,为听力测试奠定良好的心理基础。
二、快速浏览试题
答好听力题的重要前提和保障是在听录音之前,先阅读试题。开听前的五分钟,要看清每个题目的问题和选项,绝不能放过任何一个细节。因此,拿到试卷后,不要急着去做笔试题,也不要干等着放录音,要充分利用着宝贵的几分钟快速浏览整个听力试题,通过浏览试卷上的文字信息,可以推断要听的对象和语段以及涉及的话题、情境、时间、场合等相关内容。尤其是短文理解题,短文题目中问题己经给出,通过浏览问题就可以了解文章的大意、人物、事件和听力的重点,听录音时,就有目的性,使自己在听的过程中处以主动地位,做到心中有数,有的放矢。
例如在听句子,选答语题中,有这样一道题:A:The same to you. B:Good idea.C:Sorry to hear that.本题考查学生对句子的理解、辨析以及快速应答的能力,同学们应在听前对选项多作分析,对录音稿有一定的预见性。若选A原句应为Happy New Year,Merry Christmas.等祝福语,若选B,原句应为:Let's......,Why not......,Shall we......,等提建议的话语,若选C,原句应为l broke my leg yesterday,或l have a bad cold.等表示遗憾和同情的话语,这样通过对答语的预测,了解到语文的大致内容,就掌握了做题的'主动权。
三、听时抓住关键
在做听力时,要学会听关键词,要把注意力相对集中在关键词上,如表示意义转折、否定和递进的词but、however、not、no、besides、except等之后的内容,表示时间、数字、年代等概念的词。特别是应掌握语义中的转折和让步,把握说话人的真实意图。一般来说,听到but一词,要特别注意之后的句子意思,它往往就是本题的答案,but之前的句子往往不重要。
例如此题:A:Ann does,B:Jim does,C:Lucy dose.原文:M:Hi,Ann,do you have dictionary?W:Sorry I don't.But Lucy has one.M:Where is Lucy?W:She is on the playground.Question:who has a dictionary?由选项知本题考查人物,然后听材料,首先出现Ann,但是她的回答出现否定,紧跟着又用转折告诉提问的男孩Lucy有一本字典,故选C。再如:when does the conversation tske Place?A:Before class.B:After class.C:During class..从此选项中可以看出重点应放在before,after,during三个词上即可。
另外,听短文时,要细读所给的问题及选项,并根据选项的内容进行对比,对短文的内容进行预测,包括对问题中问句的内容进行预测,达到提前了解短文中可能出现的单词、词组或句子。在听时,要简单记下五个“W”(What,When,who,why,where)和一个“H”(How),并要听好首句和首段以及最后一段。在听完短文后再进行归纳、判断就可以顺利整理出相关信息,从而确定正确答案。
四、注意整体听,判断答案
在第一遍做好记录的同时,利用中间停顿的时间,将问题理解、归纳,第二遍再认真整体听一遍,看自己的理解以及预测是否正确。特别注意第一次没有听懂或没有理解的地方,需要再次验证一下,然后快速作出判断,选出答案。如对话题:A:7:00 B:7:15 C:7:50.听力原稿:W:When do you usually go to school?M:l usually go to school at 7.15,but today l went to School at 7:00.Q:When does the boy Usually go to School?在第一遍听出两个时间7:15和7:00,不知选那一项时,第二遍要整听,看哪一项时usually的时间,然后做出答案。当然,整听在短文中更为重要,因为听短文需要整体理解,把握中心论点或主要情节,“抓关键,听要点”不要一个一个词的听,要一句一句的听,一段一段的去听,从整体来理解。
五、听后完善
听力一般播放两遍,若两遍听完也没有听懂此时不要着急,也不要放弃不管,而要用听到的大概内容,以及自身的语言知识,展开回忆,快速猜想答案,因为一个小题三个选项,三选一的几率,占了33%的猜对的机会,绝不能放弃。当然,猜完答案以后,不要再在没有听懂的地方纠缠,要集中精力,全身贯注地准备做好下面的试题,要学会“丢卒保车”,以免影响后面的答题。
