Although I hear people say computer can broaden our horizons, I don't see the point of learning to use it. In China, our government blocked YouTube, Google, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and pretty much every website or app an elementary school student who is living outside of China and North Korea would be able to access. Some people may argue that we have Chinese version of everything such as Youku, Weibo, QQ, People.cn, etc. But Chinese knockoffs just suck. You cannot even send out an emoji of the national flag of Taiwan on Wechat. People have to be mindful of what you say or what you share or you will have the police come and knock on your door at midnight because they don't like the way you present the history in the daytime. The Big Brother is watching so stay away from the computer.

Computer and our llife Computer has become one of the most important inventions in the twentieth century. It's becoming smaller and lighter, so it's easy to carry. We can find the same imformation from the Internet more easily, rather than find in the book. And we can receive the letter from the Internet. We don't use the post office! We all know that the computer is quite good, but will paper be replaced by computers one day? No, I don't think the Yao Ming poster will be replaced by a computer two metres high. Expect for that, we need the computer and we must cheer for the invention!
