I have not only experienced many interesting and unforgettable moments in my school life but obtained much useful knowledge and theories of life in school study.In school, I got to know many friends, who will accompany me as long as I live. And the friendship we built in school will last forever. On a rainy afternoon after school, I forgot taking an umbrella; I thought I had to be wet though on my way home. One of my friends shared her umbrella with me. I was so moved.All of these make me understand that school life is the most important period of time in my whole life. I will leave school and to find work. Three years is too short but in these days I have many happiness and sadness. The expression “Never, never give up” means to keep trying and never stop working for your goals. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” These are wise words. One should never give up. There is always another opportunity, another goal, or another option.

Once I ran for president of my class. Unfortunately, I lost. I lost because I did not promote myself enough. I looked at my mistakes and decided how to correct them. The following year, I ran for president again. This time I gave speeches, called voters on the phone, and banded out brochures. This time I won. Never give up. There is always another opportunity.

Once I wanted to study medicine. Unfortunately, I didn’t like science. I failed all my science courses at school. Then I realized that what I liked about medicine was helping people. I changed my goal from healing people to helping people. Now, I’m studying psychology. There is always another goal.

Once I wanted to talk with my friend. Unfortunately, his computer was down and I couldn’t e-mail him. His phone line was busy so I couldn’t call him. Mail would take too long so I couldn’t write him. Since I really wanted to talk with him. I got on the bus and went across town to visit him. There is always another option.

If you give up, you might as well die. My advice is to always look for another opportunity, another goal, or another option. There is always something else. Don’t give up.

There is a saying said that don't give up forever.When I was a child,my teachers often told that don't give up,and the hope was always there.

Whenever we meet with a problem,however hard the problem is,we shouldn't stop our work.We must have a faith that the most beautiful view will come in after the most high hill.There are also many examples,such as Zhang Haidi,Zheng ZHihua,Helen Keller and so on,they all had a bad life,but they all successed by their efforts.

In a word,if we have dreams,we should do our best to come true our dreams,we shouldn't give up!

Do We Need “Never give up”?

It is widely accepted that “Never give up”, a strong and positive life attitude, is the key for individual success on the grounds that permanent persistence may boost our confidence, strengthen our will, and provide us a second chance for success when we are in hardship. However, others argue that sensible abandonment is more precious than blind persistence because the wise one should choose the most suitable area for himself/herself.

In my opinion, we need to learn to give up timely. The most immediate reason is that we should adjust our aim carefully in order to go ahead continuously. Sometimes, to give up those unrealistic targets is essential for success. Besides, the attitude “Never give up” exhausts us both mentally and physically. Only through learning to give up can we lead a pleasant and relaxing life. Finally, the temporary comprise means a new start, a beginning bringing new hopes, expectations and opportunities for us.

Passive as giving up sounds alike, it represents a more mature and realistic mentality. If those opposing this attitude can take into consideration of its benefits, then this may seem acceptable in our lives.
