suggest和advice的区别为：指代不同、用法不同、侧重点不同

一、指代不同

1、suggest：建议，提议。

2、advice：劝告，忠告。

二、用法不同

1、suggest：suggest的基本意思是“建议”“提议”，还可表示“暗示，表明”“使想起”等。suggest一般用作及物动词，接名词、代词、动名词、带疑问词的动词不定式或由that/wh-引导的从句作宾语。

2、advice：advice作“劝告”解时是抽象名词，不可数，表示数的概念时须借助表示单位的名词piece。advice作“消息，报道”解和在商业用语中作“通知单”解时是可数名词，且常用复数。

三、侧重点不同

1、suggest：侧重于表示希望对方好上加好的建议。

2、advice：侧重于表示不希望对方犯错的建议。

①advise后可以直接跟人称代词作宾语，如：advise sb. to do sth.; advise sb. against(doing) sth.; advise sb. on/ about sth.; 而suggest后一般用suggest to sb that …形式。如：他建议我们改天再来。

②suggest还有“暗示、表明、指出（一个事实）”的意思。此时从句中用陈述语气，不用虚拟语气。如：
