上班好远
说几本最近在读的原著，紧随奶爸号召，所以Young Adult，Fantasy，Sci-Fi，Mystery之类的芭乐虽然也是“看的下去”的，这里暂时就不提了，只来聊聊Non-fiction。
The Opposite of Loneliness by Marina Keegan。作者是英年早逝的Yale才女，刚去世的时候在社交网络上很红。作者发生车祸前已经拿到了New Yorker的offer，集子中大部分essay发表于Yale和作者高中的校报上，展示了美国藤校文科生里顶尖的写作水平。
An Everlasting Meal by Tamar Adler。 作者是当红美女名厨，教你用最简单的方法做出日常食材的本味。话题日常加吃货魅力，可读性不错。类似的书还包括Ruth Reichl的几本，比如《天生嫩骨》（Tender at the bone），Ruth是纽约时报餐厅专栏的作者，知名美食评论家。
Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake by Anna Quindlen，中译叫做《不曾走过，怎会懂得》。外国鸡汤专栏，专栏是在纽约时报上，大概逼格还可以。这个作者的小说拍过电影，主演是Meryl Streep。老阿姨谈心般的可读且实用。
Business Adventures by John Brooks。无他，去年Bill Gates推荐的书，每章都是独立的故事，文笔也不错，可以熟悉商业金融相关的英文。

首先，我想说原版书只要你愿意，谁都可以看，主要是选择适合自己的。刚开始读原版书不要力求学习英语，而是应该基于兴趣，培养自己读原版书的习惯。
如果只抱着学英语的目的看原版书，真不如背单词书，反正一样索然无味。看原版书不是为了多认识单词或者多背句型，而是为了读完这个故事。当你真正对故事感兴趣了，那看原版书的收获，便是自然而然的事了……
在学校的时候，老师们大多会要求学生去看一些经典的名著，好比楼主现在遇到的小困惑…… 讲真，什么《双城记》、《瓦尔登湖》之类的就建议不要去读了，虽然很经典！但是相信我…… 千万不要去看，若你英语好到一定程度为了体验原著之美可以去看。
刚开始读英文原版书籍的话，可以考虑从初级的阅读物开始。初读不要选那种很厚的书，300页内为佳。要是不讨厌童书的话，英文童书其实是很不错的选择。要是不喜欢童话，也可以看一些主流的原版读物。
1、White Death
为什么推荐这本？作者仿佛专门给英文的初学者写的故事，保证他们能读得懂的前提下还保持故事跟文字的有味道。
2、Short Story Masterpieces
短篇小说集，适合培养阅读兴趣与习惯，相当推荐作为入门选择。
3、Angels & Demons
Dan Brown曾经说过：“我的风格是每一个句子读者都不需要读第二遍就可以懂。”
4、Harry Potter系列
畅销书一定不会生涩难懂，加上大家肯定都看过电影，所以会容易读一些。
5、Love or Money
网上的评论几乎都是：这是我读过的第一本英语原版书，增长了我学英语的信心。作者用初中生都会的词汇给咱们娓娓道来一个大学生才能理解深意的故事。
