在学大学生统称：college student. 大一的新生：freshman 大二的学生：sophomore 大三的学生：junior 大四的学生：senior 毕业的大学生：college graduate.

一定要用这个college这个词代替泛指的大学，你的英语要和别人区分开来就从这种表达习惯的改变。university偏指这个教学机构，这个学校。表达一个人去念大学，肯定用 someone go to collge 比较习惯。如果强调他是被大学录取的，那么 someone is accepted by a unviersity. 从语法上分析的话就是惯用college充当形容词成分。
