Two wrongs donnot make a right "Two wrongs don't make a right" means that it is never right to wrong someone, even if they have wronged you first. Their "wrong" plus your "wrong" together would not make a "right." 两个错误不会铸就一个正确。 意思是,当有人先对你做错误的事情时,你不能以牙还牙的方式,以另外一个错误去还击别人。例如:"That boy pushed me yesterday and I am going to get him back today!" Answer: "No you are not! Two wrongs do not make a right." a wolf in sheep's clothing 披着羊皮的狼 a toss up 悬而未决的事 人的一生会遇到很多悬而未决的事,比如大学能否考取、演讲比赛能否拿名次、生意的单子是否能签、投标是否能中……

"two wrongs don't make a right" "Two wrongs don't make a right" means that it is never right to wrong someone, even if they have wronged you first. Their "wrong" plus your "wrong" together would not make a "right." Example: "That boy pushed me yesterday and I am going to get him back today!" Answer: "No you are not! Two wrongs do not make a right." Sometimes, when you have been wronged, you want to wrong that person back to make things "right"; but "two wrongs don't make a right" says that it is always "wrong" to answer one "wrong" with another "wrong." Example: "I don't want anyone on our team getting in a fight on the field today, even if the other person has fouled you first. Two wrongs do not make a right." --------------------------------------------------- In English, "a wolf in sheep's clothing" has become a common metaphor for any hidden danger, or for any enemy putting on a false display of friendship ------------------------- toss-up - an unpredictable phenomenon; "it's a toss-up whether he will win or lose" even chance, tossup fortune, hazard, luck, chance - an unknown and unpredictable phenomenon that causes an event to result one way rather than another; "bad luck caused his downfall"; "we ran into each other by pure chance"
