一、当下初中学生英语口语交际能力存在的问题1.对英语的认识不足。现阶段,全球化发展趋势不断加深,英语更是起着非常重要的作用,但是,许多学生对英语产生了偏见。比如有民族主义倾向的学生认为:“英语不是国语,所以不学。”而学生中的保守主义者则认为:“在中国用不到英语,也懒得学。”但是,英语文化与我国文化的碰撞是发展的必然,作为国际沟通语言,英语的重要性更是不言而喻,学习英语不仅仅是为了增加知识,更是为了适应现代社会的文化发展趋势。学生对于英语认识的不足,是当前初中生英语口语交际能力难以提高的首要原因。2.学生心理作怪。首先,许多中学生都羞于用英语沟通,这种羞涩心理往往也是造成他们英语口语交际能力无法提升的原因之一,这种心理障碍存在于许多中学生的学习过程中。英语作为一门崭新的学科,发音与汉语大不相同,这就致使中学生产生了羞于出口的心理,担心自己发音不对从而招来周遭同学的嘲笑,故而只能沉默。此外,还有诸如以上的“排外心理”、“应付心理”,更是导致了当前英语口语水平难以提高。许多初中学生存在为了考试而应付的心态,认为对今后在社会上立足没有用处。3.学生水平和教师水平参差不齐。 一方面,由于许多初中学生英语基础薄弱、起步较晚,学生的英语水平存在差异、基础不扎实等自身问题,英语学习成绩呈现出下滑趋势,甚至让中学生对英语感到沮丧。另一方面,部分地方师资力量的不足也导致了中学生英语水平难以提高。期刊文章分类查询,尽在期刊图书馆比如英语教师地方口音严重,造成学生学习英语的困难,也会造成一定程度的误差。4.英语课程的狭窄。英语的主项作用越来越突出,英语作为一门主科,但是许多学校仅仅在课堂中锻炼英语的口语交际能力,在课堂以外,学生便不会主动利用英语进行沟通,这也是造成英语口语难以突破瓶颈的主要原因之一。另外,中国有句古话说得好:“学而实习之,温故而知新。”学校对于学生“复习”这方面也有较多的不足之处。二、针对初中生英语口语交际能力不足的解决方案1.推动学生对英语的认识全面性。学校应该加大对英语的宣传力度,普及英语知识的重要性,让中学生明白英语作为主流语言在世界文化交流中起着重要的桥梁作用。对于英语的学习也绝对不是为了升学,而是为了适应现代文化交流而采取的必要手段。另一方面,要消除学生“民族主义”、“保守主义”等不良心理现象。2.消除学生学习英语的心理障碍。首先,老师应该引导学生走出心理阴霾,给予学生必要的肯定和鼓励,鼓励学生大胆说口语,不必担心发音不准的问题,不必担心出现错误,出现错误要勇于改正,能开口就向成功迈进了一大步。可先从较简单的对话开始慢慢说英语。对于那些认为英语一无是处的孩子,要开拓他们的视野,让他们认识到英语的重要性,并不只是为了出国或者升学,而是非学不可。3.改善发音不准以及起步晚等问题。面对众多孩子共同的难处,首先应该多下载一些网络教学视频或者音频等基础的教学基础题材,多加练习;其次,要抓住重点进行学习,着重从听、说、读、写等各种方面,依照层次,循序渐进,来弥补英语中的不足。此外,面对师资力量参差不齐的问题,一方面,学校应该广招人才,用有用之才,来弥补师资力量的不足之处;另一方面,可通过培训、进修等方式提高教师的专业知识素养,提高教学质量。4.拓宽英语课程教学,促进教学形式多样化。首先,要求学校多组织一些英语口语节目或者英语演讲比赛,这不仅能激起学生对英语的兴趣,更可以培养学生的爱好和特长。其次,应该鼓励学生开展英语会话,用实战来提高口语水平,从而牢固掌握英语的语法技巧。再次,可利用经常性的自我练习来提示自己“学而实习之,温故而知新”等的重要性。教育工作者在英语教学的实践过程中不能仅仅局限于书本知识的教授。对于英语的教授更是如此,作为世界上主流的交流工具,提高学生的口语水平才是这门课程设置的初衷。为此,教育工作者不仅要学习书本知识,更要对西方文化有一定的了解,通过中西方文化对比,从共同性与区别性进行教学。这样不仅能让初中生学好英语,更能对西方文化产生浓厚的兴趣。
