The predecessor of Jingwei is Nuwa ,daughter of sun god---Emperor Yan.One day,Nuwa travelled across the East China Sea in a small boat.Unfortunately,evil waves stroke down the boat,and Nuwa was drowned.After death,her spirit became a bird called Jingwei .To prevent the sea from killing other innocent people,Jingweiswore to fill and level up the sea.
