'external' 和 'exterior' 都是 outside的意思， 两者有微妙的区别。'external' 一般指远离事物/人/国家/机构等的事情， 如：external events: 国外事， 家外事， 公司外的事等等'exterior' 一般指某事/某人/某物外表的， 如：paint the exterior of the building: 给楼外面油漆， 指楼房外表面， 但还是属于楼房的， 只不过不是楼房的内部， 是楼房的外部。不知讲清楚了没有， 我是美籍华人英语老师， 不清楚再来问， 留言也可以， QQ也行， 注明英语学习。
