写作中缓和语气，部分正确的陈述可以使用to some/ certain extent/ degree 在一定（某种）程度上这个短语，不过，还有其它更好的说法：

2. to a limited extent 这个和前面的to some extent用法类似

3. this is partly true

This is partly true, but you failed to take into other causes into account.

4. there is some truth in it, but 同前一个用法类似

5. in some cases--This could only happen in some cases, not applicable to all circumstances.

6. up to a point

I agree with up to a point. 熟练使用这些表达可以给自己的论证留有余地，也显得更严谨。
