把个人的身份证、准考证，还有相关证明材料扫描或拍照，用电子邮件发给申请机构指定邮箱（，邮件标题为“（221CET-SET退费）姓名+身份证号”，邮件正文必须注明个人的姓名、身份证号、报考科目名称和联系电话。希望考生可以严格按照上述格式发送电子邮件，以免影响审核结果。退费申请将会逐级上报教育部教育考试院，最终核准退费的考生，报名费将按原缴费渠道全额退回。

英语四六级退费一般只有两种情况：

1.因为非考生自身的原因导致无法参加考试或者重复缴费的情况，教育部考试中心将会在考试结束后一个月之内将款项原路退回到考生账户中。

2.因为考生自身的原因而无法参加考试的话，报名费是不退回的。

此外，考生需要主动配合教育部考试中心等各部门完成退费手续等程序。费用将会在考试成绩公之于众后统一安排退还处理。考生如果确定了自己所选的考试科目之后，需要在一天之内完成缴费，否则将会被视为报考失效。如果已经缴费了的话，没有特殊情况是不能取消报考的。
