巧记英语序数词
要想学好序数词,第一、二、三要牢记：
八去“t”,九去“e”,“ve”要用“f”替；
如果以“y”来结尾,把“y”变成“i”和“e”；
以上变化须牢记,“th”最后加上去。
1st—19th是基本序数词,根据词形及其与基数词的关系,可分为三类来记忆.
1、特殊类：
这类词共3个：first,second和third,它们与 one,two,three差别特别明显,应特别记忆。
2、大众类：
这类词外形极有规律：在相应的基数词尾直接加"th",共11个。
fourth,sixth,seventh,tenth,eleventh,thirteenth,fourteenth,fifteenth,sixteenth,seventeenth,eighteenth,nineteenth.
3、微变类：
这类词从外形上与大众类接近,也是以th结尾,但词中字母有变异、省略现象.因此在书写这类词时易出现错误.它们是fifth,eighth,ninth和twelfth共四个.其微变过程如下：
five→ fifth,twelve→twelfth,eight→eighth,nine→ninth
