这学期，我担任本校四年级两个班的英语教学工作。作为一名常年奋战在英语教学一线的老师，我深知语言教学之难，以及打下坚实基础之重要。

一学期以来，我对教学工作不敢怠慢，认真学习先进的教学理念，深入研究教学方法，与同事交流研讨，经过一个学期的努力，获取了一些宝贵的教学经验。现将本学期四年级英语的教学工作总结如下：

一、教学工作基本情况

本册教材的教学单元有六个，2个复习单元。每个单元分为A、B、C三个部分，A、B是教学的核心部分，教学时通常用拟人化呈现单词、对话。

教材以话题为纲，以交际功能为主线，即“话题———功能——结构——任务”。以体验、实践、参与交流与合作的学习方式，强调学生能用英语做事情，提倡“任务”型的教学思想，把综合语言运用能力的培养落实在教学的过程中。

根据四年级学生的年龄特点，以及课程改革的要求，我在备课时，就充分考虑到如何从孩子们的学习兴趣出发，在课堂上提倡发掘孩子们的综合语言运用能力。使学习英语的过程能为孩子们带来积极的情感态度，鼓励他们主动思维、大胆实践，提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习的习惯。

经过一学期的教学实践，我所带的两个班绝大多数的通许人对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣，上课认真听讲，积极进行口语表达。孩子们课前预习、课后听录音等习惯已基本形成。不过，每个班仍会有几个家庭作业完成不好、成绩较差的学生，而这也正是下学期我的重点工作。

二、采取的措施、开展的活动及效果

英语是一门语言的学科，就像其他语言一样，贯穿于生活的方方面面。因此，我将教学的大量精力倾注于孩子们学习语言的浓厚兴趣上，在平时上课时，不断给学生们灌输，要有终身学习的决心。教学中：

1.教材中的Let’s talk，Let’s play，我的课堂教学多采用在游戏中表演生成，如：用分角色进行表演。

2.在听听做做中强化词汇教学，我在教学中非常重视单词发音的示范性，将单词教学融在语言中进行，充分发挥（全身反应法）节奏活动的优势。

3.在唱唱演演中巩固，坚持在每节课中渗透，灵活服务于各个环节，唱演结合，培养艺术素质，这一部分让性格活泼，成绩优良的学生带动其他学生唱起来，跳起来。
