否定形式英语

编者按：英语的否定式，主要体现在谓语中，还有一小部分体现在主语或者其他成分中。下面我就来带你一起学习下三种句型的否定形式，希望对大家有帮助。

1.总要领：否定副词not的位置

否定词not常常放在谓语中第1个动词(助动词或者系动词、情态动词)的后面。

2.陈述句的否定形式

这里熟悉一下陈述句中代替not的几个常见的否定词、部分否定的副词：

never有“从不”、“决不”的含义，比not语气强烈。例如：

I will never go to that restaurant again.

我决不会再去那家餐馆。(可能吃拉肚子了，还是什么原因。)

She will never repeat the same mistake.

她决不会再犯同样的错误。

hardly有“几乎不”的含义，绝大部分程度是否定。例如：

He hardly has any friends here.

他在这几乎没有朋友。

The guardians hardly ate anything.

守卫们几乎没吃什么东西。

注意：

never, hardly这2个否定词大多数情况下放在谓语的第一个助动词后面，但是如果前面没有助动词，那么直接放在实义动词前，比如在现在一般时和过去一般时中。

3.疑问句的否定形式

否定疑问句，有两种形式，一是将助动词移到主语前(特殊疑问句的疑问词是主语时则不移动)，not留在主语后面：

Is she not your sister?

她不是你姐姐吗?

Are you not students?

你们不是学生吗?

Can she not use this computer?

她不能使用这台电脑吗?

二是将助动词和not的连体形式移到主语前：

Isn’t she your sister?

Aren’t you students?

Can’t she use this computer?

但是，不能将助动词和not分开的形式放在主语前：

×Isnot she your sister?

×Can not she use this computer?

有一种表示惊讶、要求确认的疑问句与陈述句的语序相同，所以助动词和not都不移动：

You are not Chinese?

你不是中国人吗?(惊讶)

He is not at home?

他不在家里?

4.祈使句的否定形式

在祈使句前面加上Do not(缩写的形式是Don’t)即构成否定式:

Do not panic!别慌!

Don’t give up midway!别半途而废!

Do not be angry!别生气!

Don’t get overexcited!别太激动!

英语语法中否定句分为九种:

(1)一般否定句

I don't know this.否定句式

No news is good news. 否定词no

There is no person smoking here.

(2)特指否定

He went to his office, not to see him.

I am sorry for not coming on time.

I don't think/believe/suppose/feel/imagine you are right.

(3)部分否定

All the answers are not right

All is not gold that glitters.

I don't know all of them.

I can't see everybody/everything.

Both of them are not right.

(4)全体否定

None of my friends smoke.

I can see nothing/nobody.

Neither of them is right.

Nothing can be so simple as this.

(5) 延续否定

You didn't see him, neither/nor did I.

You don't know, I don't know either.

He doesn't know English, let alone/to say nothing of/not to speak of (更不用说) French.

(6) 半否定句

We seldom/hardly/scarcely/barely hear such fine singing.

I know little English. I saw few people.

(7) 双重否定

You can't make something out of nothing.

What's done cannot be undone.

There is no sweet without sweat.

No gain without pains.

I can't help /keep/ laughing whenever I hear it.

No man is so old but (that) he can learn.

(8)排除否定

Everyone is ready except you.

He did nothing but play.

But for your help, I couldn't do it.

(9)加强否定

I won't do it at all.

I can't see it any more.

He is no longer a boy.
