According to the idea of Input and Output, C+V is the part that we input and M is the output.We could make the C+V as the denominator and M as the numerator and as all of us know about that we could get a better benifit by comparing of the Input-Output if the M is as big as it could be and at the same time the C+V is as small as it could be.
