船舶吨位是一个什么概念
船舶吨位是一个什么概念，船舶通常说的多少吨指的是船舶吨位，表示船舶大小和运输能力的标识，分为容积吨位和重量吨位两大类。下面来看看船舶吨位是一个什么概念。
吨位，英文tonnage。属于船舶工程中船舶丈量，核定船舶容积的单位。
国际度量标准
Short ton 短吨（美国）2000磅；
Long ton 长吨（英国）240磅；
Metric ton公吨 (1000公斤)2204.6磅；
总吨位Cross tonnage船体在上甲板下（或者船舱所谓围蔽空间）的实际载货容积，按每100立方英尺（约2.83立方米）计算，tonnage本身不是涉及重量的术语。总吨位是计算港口费、系缆费、码头停泊费等的依据。
所以总吨位实际上是容积单位，而不是个重量单位。
总注册吨位Gross register tonnage (g.r.t.)：船舶按照其登记证书所能载货的容积。
净吨位Net tonnage ：总吨位减去为船员居住区(crew’s quarter)、船舱、燃料舱、机舱、驾驶台、物料房和压舱等所保留空间的立方英尺数额。
载重吨位Deadweight cargo capacity：船舶的载重吨位，一般会扣除燃料、淡水以及“船舶常数(constant)”（例如船上厨房供应品(galley supplies)、漆料、润滑油、油、锅炉冷却水等等）
净载重吨Deadweight tonnage ：船舶实际运载货物的容量，如果船舶装满货物，船体陷入水中会使水淹到船体的吃水标(Plimsoll marks) 。它等于船舶满载时的排水量吨位减去在空船时的排水量吨位的吨数。

看过以上数据你是不是会被“吨位越大，船体越大”这种潜意识影响？那可是不对的，因为邮轮的空间比率，才是体现邮轮真正价值的重要标尺。
船只的空间比率就是：用排水量GRT除以载客量PAX，例如：一艘邮轮的GRT为50000能承载2500名游客，那么他的空间比率就是20。
船舶通常说的多少吨指的是船舶吨位，表示船舶大小和运输能力的标识，分为容积吨位和重量吨位两大类。
1、容积吨位是为船舶登记而规定的一种以“吨” 为计算的丈量单位，每吨相当于2。83立方米的容积，这是世界各国通用的船舶统计单位，反映船舶规模大小；
2、重量吨位是指船舶在水中排开同体积水的重量，其中有空船自重量和载重重量之分，可表示船舶的`载重运输能力。
船舶的容积吨位（Registered Tonnage）又可分为容积总吨和容积净吨两种。
1、容积总吨（GRT）
又称注册总吨，是指船舱内及甲板上所有关闭的场所的内部空间（或体积）的总和，是以100立方英尺或2。
83立方米为一吨折合所得的商数。容积总吨的用途很广，它可以用于国家对商船队的统计；表明船舶的大小；用于船舶登记；用于政府确定对航运业的补贴或造舰津贴：用于计算保险费用、造船费用以及船舶的赔偿等。
2、容积净吨（NRT）
又称注册净吨，是指从容积总吨中扣除那些不供营业用的空间后所剩余的吨位，也就是船舶可以用来装载货物的容积折合成的吨数。
容积净吨主要用于船舶的报关、结关；作为船舶向港口交纳的各种税收和费用的依据；作为船舶通过运河时交纳运河费的依据。
多少吨位的船可以让人感觉不到颠簸？
再大的船相比海洋还是一个小点，就连10万吨级航母和30万吨级的油轮都会在航行中被海浪颠簸。当然，一般来说越大的船也就意味着适航性/耐波性
越好，虽然这不完全是事实。
如果仅考虑船体的平衡，我们只需要考虑在X和Y轴心上的摆动（左右摆动和前后摆动）。由于船的长度远高于船的宽度，滚动摇晃通常要比俯仰摇晃更严重。因此，减轻滚动摇晃的工作会在船舶设计中优先于减轻俯仰摇晃。通常情况下，在滚动摇晃方面合格的船也意味着它符合俯仰摇晃的要求。
在仔细计算船的适海性之前，工程师必须首先确保下图的GM距离位于0.5m - 8m之内。GM小于0m就等于翻船，而GM太高会对船员和乘客不舒适、损坏货物和损坏船体结构。一般情况下，搭载客人的船只都会有比较低的GM距离（但是GM太低了会翻船），因为这样会延长横摇周期，乘客在航行时会感受到“软”。

假设船的GM处于合格状态，船体本身在无协助下就能够保持一定程度上的平衡。同时，船体的水下形状也可以影响船在海浪中的平衡，不同角度打来的海浪会给船造成不同程度上的摇动。船体水下形状的设计实际上是一种艺术和科学的结合体，目前还没有一个通用的数学公式可以创造出适航性最佳的船体来（目前都是依靠人的摸索和模型测试）。
当然，更麻烦的是在调整船体的过程中需要同时考虑适航性、阻力、尺寸和吨位。在船体的设计中，尺寸/吨位 -> 重量评估 -> 适航/阻力 的设计循环通常会消耗船舶设计项目中的一大部分时间。
除了船体之外，船本身配备的船舵也可以在自动化操作系统的协助下协助船在航行中保持平衡。
